During your workday, you designate a lot of your
mental power to making decisions. Save some of your mental power and
reduce a little stress by making the day's easy decisions the night
before.
Jeff Haden at weblog Inc. suggests that it's easier to
make smart choices when a decision isn't right in front of you. Instead
of taking each decision of the day as it comes, Haden recommends you
make choices tonight that set up tomorrow:Take as many decisions off the board tonight as you can; that will allow you to conserve your mental energy for the decisions that really matter tomorrow. And while you're at it, decide what you will do first when you get to work...Then when you walk in to your job tomorrow, you're already one step ahead. Tonight, you can also decide what you're having tomorrow for breakfast and lunch. Pick what you're wearing tomorrow too. Get the little things out of the way so you can focus on the big stuff.
